Frequently asked questions
How do I join a mess?+
Ask your mess owner for the 8-character invite code. Open the app, tap Join Mess, enter the code, and confirm.
I forgot my password — what do I do?+
On the Log In screen, enter your email and tap Forgot Password. You'll receive an email with a reset link.
How are bills calculated?+
Each meal you confirm adds the regular or special meal price to your bill. Extras and guest meals are added on top. Bills are finalized at the end of each month.
Can I export my data?+
Yes. Go to Profile → Export My Data and choose JSON or CSV. The export includes your profile, memberships, meal responses, customizations, bills, and payments.
How do I delete my account?+
Go to Profile → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account and all associated data within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.
I left a mess by mistake — how do I rejoin?+
Just enter the same invite code on the Join Mess screen. Your previous membership will be reactivated.
Why isn't my owner getting my response?+
Check your internet connection. If voting cutoff has passed for the day, you'll see a 'Voting Closed' message. Ask your owner to extend the cutoff time if needed.
